The 2012 season has not gone the way SPC 2013 RB, Ryan Green would have imagined. However, receiving his Under Armour All American jersey today eased the pain.

“If felt like my dream come true,” said Green once he received his UA All American jersey at the presentation at St. Petersburg Catholic today. Green joins, Sean Covington, Vernon Hargreaves, Leon McQuay and Alvin Bailey as Tampa Bay UA All Americans.

Since 2008, the elite group of Under Armour All Americans is eye popping and now Green will join the gang. “Me and Julio Jones in the same sentence [as Under Armour All Americans] first of all is unreal. I never thought that would happen”.

Back to reality for Green. As he is listed as an UA All American, he would rather be on the battle field with his team. “It was bitter sweet getting the jersey, but knowing I can’t play this Friday and my team watching me get my jersey. That was kinda hard”.

Ryan is focused on getting his arm back to where it is suppose to be. Will concentrate on getting stronger and faster, preparing for basketball and track season. Until then, he is happy to be an Under Armour All American and Florida State Seminole verbal commit.
