HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY LEGENDS

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY’S LEGENDS of the GRIDIRION

A legend is a narrative of human actions that are perceived both by teller and listeners to take place within human history and to possess certain qualities that give the tale verisimilitude. Legend, for its active and passive participants, includes no happenings that are outside the realm of “possibility”, defined by a highly flexible set of parameters, which may include miracles that are perceived as actually having happened, where the legend arises.

Hillsborough County has produced so many talented football players over the years and almost every era showcases different superstars. Through the years, there has been a constant flow of great players that leave their marks on the gridiron.  These players are the zenith of greatness and role models of present and future high school superstars. This list is composed of Hillsborough County football players that have become household names due to their talents, skills and overall production on the football field. Without these players, the game of football at the high school level in Hillsborough County might have never been the same.
