Ernest Suttles, Gaither 2013 DT, 6-4/215lbs has committed to Iowa State University. The Cowboy senior had a number of division 1 offers, but chose the Cyclones feeling it was the best opportunity for him. He recently took an official visit to ISU and loved it. “The team, the upside of the program, the support from the town, the school, everything made me feel like it was best”.

Offers: Middle Tenn. State, Iowa State, Memphis, Ball State, Indiana, Western Michigan, Ohio

“This last past weekend I took an official visit to Iowa State. That school that is currently my top choice.” Suttles says, the trip overall, was a good trip. “I enjoyed everything; The school, facilities as well as the athletics.” He also pointed out that he enjoyed the football team and game day environment.

Ernest also says he has been talking to Cincinnati and FIU lately. No date set for a decision. Will continue to visit schools and focus on 2012 season.

On the season, he has recorded 20 solo tackles, 34 total tackles and a team leading 6 sacks and 2 CF in just four games.
