Richy Klepal has quickly earned 15 scholarship offers making him one of the hottest prospects in Tampa Bay.

“I’m definitely feeling blessed to be in the situation I am,” Klepal said. “It’s just crazy. I never would have thought six months ago that I would be in the spot that I am today. I don’t really know how to describe it. It’s great.”

He received his first offer a few days after the Plant Panthers State Championship game. It’s been a roller coaster ride for the highly-touted junior ever since.

“It’s really made me appreciate what I have and appreciate getting the opportunity to play on a state championship team,” he explained. “It also is kind of a reality check to stay focused and stay humble and continue to work my hardest every day; to realize my potential is really limitless – theres nowhere I can go but up.”

Connecticut joined the fold today, Klepal confirmed in a text message.

He remains high on many teams’ radars and will likely continue to reel in many more offers.
