HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY RECRUITING

Newsome’s Will Worth makes his mark in 2011

Will Worth at BCP's 2011 E7 Showcase

Tampa Bay is the home of some of the best QB prospects in Florida. Recruits who have dynamic arms, swift feet and unlimited potential. Bennie Coney, Crow, Eveld, Few, Dinovo and Windham are names that come to mind. But, Will Worth at Newsome made his mark as a good QB and a great football player. As a junior in 2011, Worth passed for 925 yards, 66 completion on 132 attempts, 9 TDs and just 5 Interceptions. But, he is not done there. Because Newsome is an run oriented, Worth was an intricate part of the run game; 120 carries, 1020 yards and 10 TDs. A football players does it all. It’s hard to pull a competitor off the field and it’s rare for the starting QB to double as an inside LB. Worth was just as effective on defense as he was on offense; 52 solo tackles and 74 total tackles.

Worth may not get as much ink as others and he may not win as many accolades as some others, but make no mistake, he is the complete definition of a “Baller”! We introduce you to Will Worth: See HILITES HERE
