Hillsborough County All-Star Game
Tonight 6 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium
Head Coaches
East: John Booth – Bloomingdale High School
West: Alvin Davis – King High School
Players to Watch:
The West squad has a lot of offensive firepower led by two of the most publicized quarterbacks in the area in Tommy Eveld (Jesuit) and Greg Windham (King). Windham is committed to Ohio while Eveld, a BCP Player of the Year finalist, is still looking to land an offer.
LaDondra Crittenden (Sickles) will anchor the backfield for the West which has a number of talent receivers on the outside. Chris Murray (King), Byron Pringle (Robinson) and Adrian Jenkins (Jefferson) among many other talented young men will look to pick apart the West secondary as it tries to get the West back into the win column.
The West defense features a lot of big bodies inside, with Earl Moore (Hillsborough) a University of Miami commit who will make offense tough to come by for the East.
Charles Booth (Jefferson), who currently holds an offer from Youngstown State, forced six turnovers through his senior campaign and has interest from a number of BCS schools. A strong showing for him, like many other players, could open doors for more scholarship opportunities.
The current East roster shows Nick Fabrizio (Durant) as the lone quarterback. Fabrizio led Durant to a 7-4 record. He rushed for 720 yards and passed for 431 while scoring 26 total touchdowns.
Darius Page (Wharton) will anchor the West backfield along with Quantavious Gibbs (East Bay), Steven Maines (Riverview and Tyrel Nunn (Freedom) as they look to win its second consecutive all-star game. Page led the Wildcats with 1600 total yards and 15 touchdowns.

The all-star game is a great way for seniors to showcase their talents for the last time in a live 11-on-11 game prior to their graduation. For many, this will be their last football game. For others this is their last opportunity to show off in an attempt to earn a scholarship.
