8A-6 District Match-up: Bloomingdale 7-1 (3-1) at Wharton 4-5 (2-2)
Sam Skinner, Bloomingdale DE: Has developed from a pass rush specialist to a true defensive end, growing into his size and being a force versus the run. Wharton will run the ball repetitively and Tyler Jahn will be active. As Jahn attracts blocking attention, Skinner could have a big game.

7A-9 District Match-up: Pinellas Park 6-2 (3-1) at Countryside 7-1 (3-1)
Kee Wheteel, Countryside ATH: One of the most effective, productive players in Pinellas County. Versus East Lake, he was a one man wrecking crew. Speed off the edge and violent at the ball carrier. On the season he leads the team with 5 sacks and also has 1 caused and recovered fumble.

7A-8 District Match-up: Brandon 6-2 (2-1) at Plant City 3-4 (2-1)
Reaquavious Young, Plant City CB: 4th on the team in tackles (43) and 28 solos. Young is more than just a cover defensive back. He is an impact in the run game averaging 5 and half tackles per game. Brandon will balance their offense and attack the Plant City secondary systematically. Young’s 2 INTS and 18 PDs, leads the team and will need to increase during the game to limit big plays by Brandon.

7A-7 District Match-up: Sickles 5-3 (3-1) at Tampa Bay Tech 5-3 (3-1)
Nate Ferguson, Sickles CB: Missed the first half of the season due to ineligibility. In 3 games played, Ferguson has 13 tackles. 11 are solos and 3 are tackles for loss. Ferguson will be needed to slow down TBT WR, Daquan Green or Deon Cain.

7A-5 District Match-up: Lakeland 9-0 (4-0) at Kathleen 5-3 (3-1)
Francisco Nelson, Kathleen DE: If you have not seen Kathleen play, you likely don’t know this name. Nelson is very active and plays with passion. Very long DE who can impact the game in different ways. Does a good versus the run, discipline versus the option.

6A-11 District Match-up: Winter Haven 7-1 (2-0) at Lake Region 3-4 (1-1)
Javonte Arius, Winter Haven S: Part of a secondary that will hit ya and take the ball out the air. Arius is big, fast and smart. Lake Region will not be the best opponent the Devils have played all year. But Arius will need to be at his best to help in run support and prevent impact plays by Lake Region.

5A-6 District Match-up: Zephyrhills 7-1 (4-1) at Pasco 5-3 (3-2)
Antwione Sims, Zephyrhills S: 3rd on the team in rushing yards (321), 4th on the team in carries (39) and 1st on the team in rushing TDs (8). Sims is versatile player who is effective at any position he plays. Pasco will need to know where he lines up on each play to assure where he could be rushing from, dropping into coverage or carry the ball.

3A-4 District Match-up: Fort Meade 6-2 (2-1) at Lakeland Christian 7-1 (2-1)
Ladarius Clark, Fort Meade CB: Plays bigger than his size. Very confident corner and his performance versus Lakeland Christian will be crucial. The Vikings have the perimeter talent, but the Miners have the skill to match. In order to slow down Christian Alexander, Clark will need to play big, as this passing attack may be the best they have seen all year.
