Q: Favorite Athlete of 2010?
A: Chad Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals, WR), because he is explosive and you never know what he’s going to do next.
Q: What’s your best talent outside of football?
A: Track
Q: What was your best time?
A: 10.8 in the 100m dash.
Q: Will Middleton High school football be better in 2011?
A: Yes, because we will be more productive.
Q: What held the Tigers back last year?
A: Lack of discipline
Q: What is the difference between Coach Stokes (MHS head football coach 2009-2010) and Coach Ashwood (new MHS head football coach)?
A: Coach Stokes was a very giving man and everything with coach Ashwood has to be earned.
Q: What movie star would be your dream date?
A: Gabriel Union.
Q: Who would you say you pattern your football game after?
A: AJ Green (University of Georgia, WR).
Q: What 5 schools would you like to recruit you?
A: Florida State, Kansas, LSU, Miami and Alabama. I’m getting interest from Florida, Miami and Kansas
Q: Do you like the new MHS football Logo?
A: I like it because it stands for change and it’s unique. No one else has it!
Q: If Middleton went 1-9 in 2011, who would be the one team that Middleton couldn’t lose to?
A: BLAKE, we just can’t lose to Blake!
Q: What do people not know about Richard?
A: Academics come 1st for me.
Q: How did it impact the team when you guys found out that Coach Stokes would no longer be your head football coach?
A: It hurt because Coach Stokes was a father figure for a lot of us who don’t have fathers in our lives. He wanted to win but wanted us to be young men 1st. We were hurt.
Q: What would you like to say about yourself?
A: I make plays! I’m a playmaker!
