I spoke with Former Blake High, TE Michael McFarland at USF Sling and Shoot 2. At the time, McFarland was in the process of transferring to USF and working with the coaching staff to be granted a waiver that would allow him to play in 2011. CFT Talk reports that McFarland has been added to the USF roster and South Florida is still seeking that waiver. Some very complicated misfortunes forced McFarland to make the difficult decision of leaving Florida. But, he feels that USF would be best for him for personal and football reasons.
