5 players to cannonball in 2014

Kwanzi Jackson, Manatee

New year, new opportunities for players to make a plash on the BCP scene. The players listed below are just a few that could cannonball (In a good way) in 2014.

Andrew Couto, East Lake (5-8/185) 2015 WR – Potentially could have an explosive season. Artavis Scott, gone due to graduation and George Campbell expected to see opposing teams’ best cover guy and/or double teams, Drew could get many footballs thrown in his direction.

Jarrod Kelley, Winter Haven (5-10/150) 2016 CB – Good length and agility. With the teams on Winter Haven’s schedule, the ball will be thrown in the air often. A full season of experience and an off-season of confidence will do wonders for this sophomore defensive back.

Jordan Anderson, East Bay (6-3/200) 2016 QB – The good thing for Anderson, he won’t be going under center with no game experience. Injury to starting QB, Chris Carpentier allowed Anderson to log plenty of game time. A big, strong QB that will allow East Bay to continue running their style of offense and even incorporate the traditional pro and spread offensive systems.

Kwanzi Jackson, Manatee (6-2/205) 2016 LB – More quick than fast and has really attractive LB size, standing 6-2 in his sophomore year. Athletic enough to play either linebacker position. With the beef Manatee keeps up front on their defensive line, Kwanzi could rack up big statistically numbers in 2014.

Trenton Soto, Fivay (5-11/180) 2015 WR – Really good route runner and catches the ball clean. This junior receiver form Pasco County is an exciting player. Not the most flashy, but will have a highly productive season this year.
