5 impact junior prospects

Isaiah McIntyre, Bloomingdale QB
Isaiah entered the season as one of our top ranked 2016 prospect. He wasn’t a household name and wasn’t doing a bunch of interviews to promote his game. When he threw the ball, he rocked it. Isaiah has a really strong cannon and his footwork has allowed him to be pretty efficient this season. According to Maxpreps, in 6 games this year, McIntyre has thrown for 1174 passing yards and averaging 195.7 yards per game. We didn’t not include his rushing stats which are pretty good also. His accuracy has been most impressive. This season he is .686 comp. He’s not missing many passes. Along with his 13 passing TDs and just 1 INT, McIntyre has led the Bloomingdale Bulls to their best record (8-1) in school history and second playoff birth in school history.

Johnnie Lang, Manatee RB
We have watched some good running backs over the last few year. This dude may be one of the best we don’t talk about enough. Lang is super explosive and has extremely good vision. His yards after contact are the best part of his production. When you a defender makes contact, he better wrap up. If not Lang is off to the races. 1414 rush yards, 157.1 yards per game, 7.4 yards per rush this season. Good RBs get to the end zone. In 9 games, Lang has reached the promise and 23 times on the ground.

Rudy Dawson, Hillsborough WR
If Dwayne Lawson is the QB, as a receiver, you better anticipate catching plenty of footballs for plenty of yards. Dawson doesn’t get enough ink. So lets ink him up here. The 8-1 Terriers will play Tampa Bay Tech this coming Friday and while all eyes are on Lawson, Titans should be aware of Dawson. 813 receiving yards, 90.3 yards per game, 13.3 yards per catch, 6 receiving TDs…Pretty good numbers for a receiver under 5-10 that can go from zero to 100 in a split second. Super quick feet and excellent balance. Dawson plays big, works hard and makes plays!

Marchalo Judge, Tampa Bay Tech DB
A hard hitting safety is such a luxury for a defense and especially the secondary. Judge is tough as nails and fearless. His 92 total tackles, 10.2 tackles per game, 50 solo tackles in 9 games have helped the Titans advance to the playoffs as the district runner up. Judge loves to play in the box and has the speed to play in the middle third of the secondary. He is a force in run support and a ball hawk when in coverage.

Kwanzi Jackson, Manatee DE
Long and rangy makes Jackson one of the best sack artist in the state. If you are not familiar with this junior prospect, you should get to know him. He could grow into a stud DE or become a stand up outside backer. Either way his athleticism has allowed him to dominate off the edge. This season Jackson has 45 solo tackles, 52 total tackles and 19 big sacks. Kwanzi gets to the passer. He has improved his disengage moves and worked on strength.
