Sebring 2024 LB Josiah Taylor
Taylor finished his sophomore season with 120 total tackles and 10 tackles for loss. One of his best games came in the playoffs against Clearwater when he tallied 16 tackles. He is physical and shows off great power and speed for a sophomore. He is currently listed at 5’11” and 185 pounds.
South Sumter 2024 LB Ty Kadur
We have mentioned South Sumter’s reputation for producing big-time linebackers in the past. During his sophomore season, Kadur displayed some ability that has the potential to add to that reputation. The 5’11” 185 pounder had 57 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries in the fall. He flies to the football and his speed certainly stands out on film. He is currently on the weightlifting team and track team. The Raiders’ linebacker unit will be fun to watch with Kadur, Jawarren Corbin (2023), and Malakhi Boone (2025).
Lakewood 2024 LB Jeremy Willoughby
Listed at 6’2” and 220 pounds, Willoughby is an intriguing sophomore prospect with some great size. He accumulated 89 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries as a sophomore.
Wharton 2024 OLB Booker Pickett Jr.
Pickett has already established himself as a major national recruit for the 2024 class. He holds early offers from the likes of Georgia, Florida State, and Southern Cal. The elite edge prospect has great size at 6’4” and 195 pounds. His quickness and length allow him to constantly disrupt opposing backfields. He finished his sophomore season with 22 sacks. If you follow high school and college football, this is a name you should get used to seeing.
