PINELLAS COUNTY RECRUITING

2014 and 2015 rising stars clutch camp and Showout

East Lake duo, 2014 WR Artavis Scott and 2015 S George Campbell, accompanied 2013 East Lake QB Pete Dinovo to North Carolina State this past weekend. Both participated in camp activities and expressed to have performed well. “I like the campus and the camp was fun. Not that bad. I am very interested in going up there again. Coaches showed a lot of love and they would love to have me up there again,” Scott said. Artavis is the #2 ranked wide receiver behind national prospect Travis Johnson (Jesuit) and holds numerous BCS offers such as FSU, Florida and South Florida to name a few.

George Campbell is a rising sophomore, like Scott busted on the scene with an impressive freshman campaign. He recently received his first verbal offer from South Florida and is ranked as the #8 safety in our coverage area. “It was a great camp all around, I really enjoyed it. I feel like it was a lot of competition.” As the other Eagle campers stated, “Me, Pete [Dinovo] and Tay [Artavis Scott] really took over and brought a lot of looks our way,” said Campbell.

All three Eagles really enjoyed the camp, but only frowned upon the limited number of reps each received during one on ones due to the large number of campers. “I really had no dislikes (In reference to the camp) except at first it was hard getting looked at and reps until 1 on 1s when me and Artavious put on a show. All the coaches really showed interest in us.” ~ George Campbell
