Most Impressive Performers

1. Treon Harris, Booker T. Washington 2014 QB – Evident who the best player on the field was. There was no question about it. He threw the ball with authority and ran at will. Finished 15/27 for 226 passing yards and 2 TDs. Ran for 86 yards on 11 carries and 1 TD.

2. Mark Walton, Booker T. Washington 2016 RB – Special player! The young Tornado was a Tornado. 159 all-purpose yards; 124 yards on the ground and 2 rushing TDs.

3. Kevin Toliver, Trinity Christian 2015 CB – The LSU commit was lockdown. Receivers did not have much space to catch passes, if they did catch a pass on Toliver. He ended the game with 6 solo tackles, 7 total tackles, 1 Interception and 14 rushing yards.

4. Deltron Hopkins, Booker T. Washington 2014 WR – Too fast, too skilled, too quick. Hopkins really hurt the Bolles defense. Whenever BTW needed a play through the air, Hopkins was the guy. Ended the game with 6 catches, 107 yards and 1 TD.

5. Jeff Smith, Clearwater Central Catholic 2015 QB – The state sheet will show he threw 4 interceptions. However, I would only give 2 (other 2 were not his fault) to him. Smith showed a lot of guts. He was the only true offensive threat for CCC and the TC defense knew it. Smith finished with 143 yards passing, 13 for 34, 92 rushing yards on 15 attempts. 4 other rushers had just 34 yards rushing.

6. Isaiah Ford, Trinity Christian 2014 WR – Straight balled! 128 all-purpose yards, 102 on the ground. The TC offensive explosion started and finished with him.

7. Travorie McRae, Champagnat 2015 OLB – The PA announcer called his name, what seemed like, every other minute. He was everywhere; 10 solo tackles, 12 total, 2 sacks and 5 TFLs.

8. Kade Rogers, Trenton 2016 LB – You would not know he was a sophomore if you watched him play. Blountstown was stifled on offense because of the defense of Trenton starting with Rogers; 10 total tackles, 1 sack and 6 big TFLs.

9. Kevin Coy, Victory Christian 2014 LB/FB – Did much of his damage on offense. Big bruising runner that put a dent in the Champagnat defense. Added 4 tackles on defense, 104 all-purpose yards, 58 yards on the ground.

10. Micah Wade, Victory Christian 2014 LB – Monster day for the senior LB. Really soaked up the moment and made the most of it. Wade finished the game with 8 tackles, 2 sacks and 5 TFLs.
