Spread-O, Just an observation .  Perhap PHU wasn't in the game to beat CCC , but preparing for Tarpon, where the game meant something .

The coaches at CCC are a class act...hard for me to believe that any of them would say that PHU was not very good.  Experienced coaches know that sort of talk comes back to haunt you...no matter who you're talking to.

I agree.  I don't think anyone expected Tarpon to have this much of a drop off from last year.

Also, I heard that the coaches at CCC weren't very impressed with PHU and were upset that the game was as close as it was.

As far as rankings go, I don't know where to put CCC just yet, but they should be ahead of PHU.  The paper got that one wrong.

After one week it may be okay to say the PHU's district is a three team race, but beating East Lake is a big if.

We need a few more weeks before we start serving the kool aid.  East Lake lost to one of the best teams in the county.  PHU beat Tarpon, and now the question is, is PHU that good or was Tarpon that bad, or is it somewhere in the middle.

I am hearing nothing good about Tarpon at this point.  Especially about their  offensive line.  I am also hearing people from CCC saying that they were embarrassed that they didn't play better against PHU.

Hopefully this week will give us all a better idea.
