USF National Signing Day: Bulls to welcome a new herd of Bulls on Wednesday, Feb. 1

TAMPA, JAN. 31, 2017 – Coming off a record 11-win season and Top 25 national ranking, USF Football will welcome a new herd of Bulls on National Signing Day, Wed., Feb. 1. Bulls fans can follow the latest on the members of the Class of 2017 on GoUSFBulls.com, on USF football social media accounts and using the hashtag #USFNSD17.

Fans can access USF Signing Day Central by visiting GoUSFBulls.com, which will track the arrival of each signee’s National Letter of Intent as well as provide bios and highlights for all 2017 signees. The site will also include live feeds of USF football Twitter and Facebook sights and reactions from Bulls’ signees and their families collected through social media. Signing Day Central will also house a replay and transcript of Head Coach Charlie Strong’s National Signing Day press conference following its conclusion that afternoon.

Strong’s National Signing Day press conference will be streamed live at 3:30 p.m. on the Bulls’ Facebook page (facebook.com/SouthFloridaFootball). Fans can watch live coverage and may submit questions for Coach Strong via Facebook’s comments section. A select number of questions will be presented to Coach Strong during the press conference.

Season ticket deposits for the 2017 season start at $50 per seat and can be placed at USFBullsTix.com. The Bulls will play seven home games in Raymond James Stadium in 2017, hosting notable games vs. Illinois, Houston, Temple, Tulsa and Cincinnati.

USF finished the 2016 season with a school record 11 wins following the program’s fifth-ever bowl victory in the Birmingham Bowl. The Bulls’ 11-2 record marked the fifth-best winning percentage in FBS football in 2016 and one of just 11 teams to reach 11 wins. USF set nearly 40 team and individual records in 2016, including team records for total yards (6,650), rushing yards (3,714), touchdowns (77) and scoring (569). Junior quarterback Quinton Flowers was named the American Conference Offensive Player of the Year and led a school-record 10 players named to the all-conference team, six of which, including Flowers, will return in 2017.
