Jesuit 2015 QB, Trent Wessel impressed us this past camp season. Threw the ball well, showed good mechanics and displayed a strong arm. He picked up some attention heading into the fall season and is expected to grad some more after the season concludes.

Trent gives us a small update on how is recruitment is going, “Middle Tennessee State really wants to see my film. Coach Brent Brock really likes me and I’ll send them stuff after Bishop Moore. Colgate is another school on my radar with Coach Kirkland. Punting is another tool I have developed and may want to use that to get somewhere. Still some season left.”

Jesuit is 4-3 and rides the backs of their strong running game. Even though, Wessel admits he needs to improve. “I need to be better as a passer. Can’t just hand off to Malik [Davis] every play. I’m feeling confident right now!”
