RECRUITING

Top 10 Uncommitted 2016 Prospects

1. Nate Craig-Myers, Tampa Catholic WR (6-3/210) – The area’s most dominant wide receiver in this class at de-committed from Auburn, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t stopped coming hard after this young man along with UF and of course FSU.

2. Julian Santos, East Lake OL (6-4/285) – Santos’ recruitment picked up steam this offseason, with schools like Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina all showing heavy interest.

3. Brandon Drayton, Largo S (6-3/180) – Dynamic defensive player that’s starting to get a little juice from Iowa–the place his head coach attended.

4. Jacob Mathis, Berkeley Prep WR (6-4/230) – The Gators are coming hard after this beast, but schools like Miami, Michigan and Ole Miss could have something to say about that.

5. Xavier Gaines, Lake Wales QB (6-3/220) – Alabama, Texas and Michigan State all are after this phenomenal athlete and signal-caller. FSU may play a major factor in his recruitment as well.

6. Brandon Walton, Seminole OT (6-4.5/287) – Big-time schools well jump late on this young man, so his ceiling has yet to be even determined, Vandy, UCF, and USF offered in a three-day stretch in June. All of the BCS will want him, soon.

7. KJ Sails, East Bay DB (5-11/170) – He has officials planned for Iowa and Wisconsin this month and Illinois just offered yesterday. Is he B1G-bound? Sails could join Robinson’s Keldric Preston in Madison if he so chooses.

8. Terence Williams, Spoto WR (6-1/185) – Dynamic ATH that could land at any number of places including Colorado, W.Michigan, USF and Louisville.

9. Kee Wetzel, Countryside ATH (6-3/200) – Whetzel’s last two offers are from Iowa State and Purdue–two schools that love this area and have succeeded in pulling kids from here with regularity.

10. Craig Watts, Admiral Farragut S (6-0/180) – Watts loves to bring the hit-stick in the run game and could be headed to Wisconsin, which in this case could give the Badgers and banner class if they were to land Sails as well in addition to Keldric Preston.
