PASCO COUNTY RECRUITING

Time for this WR to shine: Wiregrass Ranch’s Taylor Bleistein

2016 WR Taylor Bleistein, Wiregrass Ranch
2016 WR Taylor Bleistein, Wiregrass Ranch

Bleistein has a chance to be a major factor in the offensive plans for the Bulls this coming season, and with the new addition of Wesley Chapel QB transfer Austin Sessums things could be getting even better for this 5-foot-9, 161-pound slot wide receiver. Last season, Bleistein caught 29 passes for 433 yards and a touchdown for Wiregrass during their 4-6 campaign. The Bulls graduated their top 2 receivers from last season, so this young man has chance to show what he has shown us in the offseason while camping at Ignite and E7. He can create mismatches in the slot with his speed and shows a willingness to work in traffic even with his somewhat undersized frame. The 2016 prospect possesses quick feet and strikingly fast change of direction in the open field and looks to be the perfect compliment to a program that runs quick tempo and puts a lot of moving parts in the scheme allowing him to slip underneath coverages into space.
