PASCO COUNTY RECRUITING THE BOX

This happens all to often: David Emmanuel, interest will spark

Players go unnoticed all to often. One could point out a number of reasons why this may occur, but the bottom line is, there are good players out there that college programs just don’t know about. Budget cuts to recruiting funds, time constraints and available information are a few reasons why a college program may overlook players. Pasco High, 2013, RB, David Emmanuel is one of many players who has division 1 potential, but has very little division 1 interest. With solid sophomore Hilites (available here), one would think, Emmanuel would be an “Offer Kid”. Yet, he is working and hoping that a few schools take notice.

With no available junior film floating around (till now – SEE 2011 HILITES HERE), several schools have responded to our efforts with “I have not heard of him. Does he have junior film”? Now he does and things should change.

Emmanuel is one of one thousand 2013 prospects our partner sunshinepreps.net has evaluated and promoted across the state of Florida. A detailed profile and evaluation is available for college programs. Our part is to make our readers aware that Emmanuel and other prospects do exist in Tampa Bay.

As a player, Emmanuel measures 5-11/190lbs, has a rock solid frame, neck like a bulldog, arms like cannons and speed and power to run between the tackles. He is a part time 2way stud that doubles as a linebacker.

This past season, the Pasco rising senior rushed for 1325 yards on just 132 carries, avg. 10 yards per carry, 100 yards per game and 19 TDs.

Emmanuel is currently ranked as the 9th best RB in Tampa Bay. But that can be debated depending on the style of running back a program may like. After you watch Emmanuel’s 2011 Hilites, one may ask, “how do college programs not know about him”? Again, this happens often, but with the combined efforts of local coaches, Sunshinepreps.net and BCP, the number of unknown prospects is on the decline in Tampa Bay.
