The Xecutives Shoutouts -OL/DL

LAKELAND – The big fellas in the trenches stole the entire show at the end as they usually do, and we highlighted a few of those standouts via MVP’s and Battle Bag designations. Here are some more players that left their mark on the coaches and the competition from last Sunday at Southeastern University.

OL
Cass Cole, Nature Coast Tech (6-3/276) -2016
Cole had a really nice camp on Sunday and has been putting work in the weight room since we last saw him at Ignite. He’s put on 13-pounds and was using that added weight and strength extremely well in his 1-v-1’s.

DL
Bailey Shepherd, Brandon (6-4/251) -2017
The motor on this young man is impressive and his size and strength are impressive as well. Shepherd showed a pretty quick explosion and moves in 1-v-1’s and is someone to watch as the season progresses.

Sam Skinner, Bloomingdale (6-2/222) -2017
We absolutely love what this young man brings to the table and cannot wait to see him get after it this fall. Skinner has a motor akin to Shepherd’s and knows how to beat defenders with the same relentless force.

Kwanzi Jackson, Manatee (6-3/238) -2016
Jackson had an awesome day at Xecutives and is an absolute load to bring down pushing 240-pounds already. Jackson’s core strength and technique makes him a legit prospect at the position.

Godey Coleus, Wharton (6-1/265) -2016
We made a few mentions of this young man already, but it’s warranted. Like we’ve mentioned as well, Coleus has added significant weight this offseason and has done nothing but impress folks in the process.

Isaiah Ntukogu, Plant (6-3.5/265) -2016
Once people see more of this young man, they will absolutely swoop in and try to get him to their campus. Ntukogu’s got an infectious smile, but opposing o-lineman will be doing a ton of frowning and wincing once Ntukogu’s skill set gets applied. Obviously there’s size, but the strength on this young man is something special as well.

Garrett Waits, Durant (6-1/208) -2016
Nonstop his young man is…Waits was virtually unstoppable at e7 Summer, but definitely went against the cream of the crop at Xecutives and held his own and then some. Keep a close eye on this Cougar out in east county this fall.
