Tampa Catholic High School Principal Thomas Reidy announced today that Mike Gregory who resigned as the Crusaders head football coach three weeks ago has decided to remain with the school. Reidy said that Gregory told him that he had changed his mind “after many hours of reflection and discussion with my family. I realized that I’m at the best place for me to be long term. I’m happy to be staying and look forward to many more years at Tampa Catholic.”

In announcing Gregory’s change of heart, Reidy commented that “…. we never wanted Mike to leave. He and I had continued to stay in communication over the last three weeks, so I took one last stab at retaining him. We are very happy to have him stay as our coach.”
