LAKELAND – The second event in the E7 Series presented by BCP took place on the campus of Southeastern University on Sunday afternoon with 204 prospects in attendance hailing from eight different counties from across the state and throughout the region. In addition, there were 64 different schools represented. One school had the distinction of wining a third of the entire MVP awards up for grabs and that was Largo.

The prospects were put through their paces repeatedly working on footwork regardless of position. The offensive and defensive lineman received the bulk of their work during 1-on-1’s, finishing with the “best of the best” representing them during the “King of the Ring” segment at the conclusion of the day. The linebackers and running backs received their work in drills with emphasis on open field tackling, controlling their body in pass rush, and coverage situations. The wide receivers and quarterbacks ran countless repetitions working on their precision and the defensive backs were asked to step up and destroy that timing and precision. Nine different MVP’s were named according to the position groups and by way of their distinction, have received invitations to the exclusive Xecutives event in late June. The third and final chance for prospects to compete and earn a chance to be a part of this event takes place on June 7th in Land O’ Lakes.
