Coming out of high school, Mike McFarland was ranked a four-star prospect and No. 12 TE in the country by Scout.com. He played quarterback during his Blake high school career. He originally signed with the University of Florida before transferring to USF after his redshirt freshman season. Played all four years for the Bulls posting career highs in Receptions: 5 – did it twice. Last at Cincinnati in 2014; Receiving Yards: 64 at Memphis in 2014; and Receiving TDs: 2 at Houston in 2013.
