Malik Davis, Jesuit RB drops a top 7 and speaks highly of UNC

Malik Davis, 2017 RB, Jesuit – Davis has quickly become a household name in the Tampa Bay area, as the rising senior has rushed into the minds of many through his past two seasons at Jesuit.

Last year, Davis finished with 2,337 yards on 287 carries – 28 of those being touchdown runs. He had 11 100-plus yard games in 2015, and he averaged 8.1 yards per carry. His ability to get big yards on any down will be something very valuable to the Tigers in 2016, in their quest to get back to the Class 5A Final Four. Receiving wise, Davis has 159 yards on just 11 receptions, but he still averaged 14.5 a catch.

His playmaking has improved over the years. Davis has recently narrowed down his college options via his Twitter, and it looks like UNC, Kentucky, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Miami (FL), Maryland, and Illinois all have a chance of getting Davis. He already has 4,560 rushing yards – which is a school record, but needs 1,205 more to break Ray Ray McCloud’s Hillsborough County record.
