We have been criticized for not having an ample amount of basketball talent in the BCP area. The numbers are small, the kids are just “OK”, recruiters do not hunt in our area. We beg to differ! There is talent here. There are ballers with a chance to play college basketball. The problem is, the ballers don’t come out to “Plaaaaaaay!”

These days, because college coaches don’t camp in our area as much as other areas across the state and national media sources do not believe our four county area is a true hotbed for basketball talent, potential prospect have to make there presence felt and prove they are worthy of the attention other prospects are receiving.

So, we give you BREAKDOWN! BRIGHT HOUSE SPORTS NETWORK Backboard Breakdown (Tampa, FL)

Backboard Breakdown is intended for High School basketball players with ambitions, goals and dreams of playing College Basketball at any level. Junior Varsity and Varsity Players (Class of 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) are encouraged to register and perform. Event will max out at 80 participants. Registration will close once maximum is reached.

Big County Preps and Bay Area Hoops talent evaluators will be observing and coaching throughout the event in an effort to seek out talented prospects that can be promoted to collegiate basketball programs.

Players will be tested in ball Handling, shooting, lateral movement, balance, 1 on 1 ability, passing, defense and mentality will be evaluated.

NCAA DIVISION II, III, NAIA AND JUCO COLLEGES FROM THROUGHOUT THE REGION WILL BE INVITED TO ATTEND TO EVALUATE TALENT. CLICK HERE!
