Largo : Speed and Skill kills

10 Reasons to Love Largo in 2012

1 Juwan Brown: 2013 Lefty QB is back.  Smooth and composed.  Brown can put the Packers on his back and carry the team.  Team responds to him and he shows leadership ability.

2 Derrick Doss:  Is he the best player in Pinellas County?  There is nothing he can not do.  Return punts, kickoffs, knock heads loose, scores TDs….just a BAD BOY!

3 Frankie Hernandez:  Let’s just wait for the 2012 season to conclude.  Hernandez could be the best LB in Tampa Bay.

4 Speed:  It would be a fair statement to say that there may only be a few teams with more team speed than Largo.  Lakewood, Tampa Bay Tech and Armwood possibly.  The Packers are fast at all the skilled positions.

5 Perimeter offensive skill: Raheem Harvey, Reggie Campbell and Cordell Hudson are going to make Largo open the offensive playbook a bit more.  Traditionally, a power run oriented offense, the Packers have receivers that can make plays and make plays in space.

6 Jarvis Stewart: STEWART is BACK.  Removed from the BCP rankings because he was removed from school and it was not confirmed that he would return and play football at a BCP coverage area school, Stewart is the best RB not ranked.  Stewart is BACK!

7 Rich Rodriguez:  Nuff said!

8 Youth:  The Packers have four 2015 players who are college prospects…six 2014 players who are college prospects.

9 Attitude:  Countryside and East Lake will be the favorites in Pinellas County, but the Packers don’t feel like that at all.  Ask any of the Packers and Cside or The Eagles won’t be mentioned.

10 History:  History tells us that Largo will make the playoffs.  The Packers have been the district champs for the past 7 years.  Why not this year?
