This Wednesday, the majority of recruits around the country will be wrapped up in National Signing Day festivities. They will sign and fax their national letter of intent, and the some of them will then go represent America in the 2012 International Bowl. The International Bowl features high school recruits from across the country, headed to colleges against the best high school-aged players from around the world. Kids from Mexico, Canada, Spain, Japan, Germany and other countries around the world will travel to Austin, TX to challenge top recruits in the International Bowl.

Coaching at this game will be Lakewood Head Varsity Football Coach, Cory Moore. Moore will serve as the LB coach for team USA under head coach Steve Specht of St. Xavier HS (Cincinnati, OH). Moore directed the Lakewood Spartans to a 6-4 season this year and enters the Winter and Springs months with a youthful squad with a vast amount of talent.
