Dante Mitchell is a versatile combo forward with a natural ability for scoring. He is a terrific athlete at 6’4’’ with good movements and explosive vertical bounce. Dante uses his athleticism to slash and finish around and above the rim.

He is at his best in the open floor where he is able to orchestrate his natural abilities. Dante is comfortable receiving the ball with his back to the basket where he can elevate over defenders.

He is starting to play with improved confidence and consistency. Dante possesses all the tools to be a great defender because of his length and athleticism.

Dante has been part of the Brandon Eagles basketball program for 2 years and during this time I have witnessed his growth as an athlete but most importantly I have witnessed his development as a student. His development not only came from his work ethic as a student-athlete, but also his leadership qualities, character, and maturity dealing with extra-curricular activities.

Dante has the desire and willingness to learn and has never had difficulty accepting his role as a young man which was to lead by example and become a great role model to our younger student athletes.

Dante is currently receiving interest from Livingstone University and several universities participating in the Sunshine State Conference.
