Hillsborough High School Junior Frank Carter walks through his school halls as a man amongst boys. In fact, Franks stands at 6’3 and weighs over 300lbs making most full-grown men look small. Frank is a gentle giant however and it was a pleaser to interview him about this weekend’s upcoming BCP Ignite Camp.

Question: What are your expectations for this weekend’s Ignite Camp?
Answer: I want to go out to Strawberry Crest and compete. I know I’ll have a great time going against some great competition. I hope I can really get my name out from my performance there.

Q: Who are you most looking forward to going up against in one-on-one drills?
A: I am ready to go against whoever they put in front of me. This is my time to shine and I am excited to take on any challengers.

Q: Has recruiting started to heat up for you?
A: I have gotten a ton of letters and college coaches that stop by Hillsborough are starting to take notice of me. I am hoping that this camp will help me to begin getting some solid offers.

Q: How is it playing for Coach Garcia at Hillsborough?
A: Coach Garcia is a living legend in Hillsborough County. I started playing football in 9th grade and he has taught me everything I know. He has so much knowledge and sees the game in so many different ways it amazing.

Q: What are your expectations for Hillsborough next year?
A: The last two years we have lost in the second round of the playoffs and this year we plan on changing that. It would be great to get Coach Garcia his first state title. He deserves it!
