THIS IS JUST A START. So much more going up throughout the week
E7-Warner Training Camp evaluations
Isham Alexander, Fort Meade 2016 RB – Hard runner. Did extremely well in the footwork drills and competitive drill work versus the line backers. Made some swift moves in open field tackle (touch) drill and pretty good in pass protection.
Kenyatta Anderson, Boca Ciega 2015 Safety – Last summer, Anderson performed well at E7 and did it again this Spring at Warner. Defensive back coach raved his coachability. Made some good plays in 1 on 1s and 7 on 7.
Willie Barrett, Anclote 2014 RB – Very good in pass protection drills. Hade a few nice runs after the catch in 1 on 1s. Good feet and frame.
Sean Behrens, Newsome 2016 OL – Improving! Attended last summer’s Training camp and did not really know what position to concentrate on. Since finding a home on the line, looks like he has been working his technique with improving footwork,
David Bond, River Ridge 2013 WR – Used his 6-4 frame to his advantage. Likely to grow into a TE, but extremely athletic for his size. Warner coaching staff was all over him. Went over top of defensive backs several times to make eye catching plays.
Stephen Bridges, Lakewood 2014 RB/DB – Made more attractive plays at corner back. Showed good cover skills with good speed. Good hands and hips.
Reggie Campbell, Largo 2015 WR – Blew past defensive backs all day. He was fun to watch. Campbell runs with ease. Ran really good routes and caught the ball clean. Explosive player. Burst out of stance and off the ground in a hurry.
Tymere Carter, Anclote 2014 WR – Made about 2 or 3 one handed Randy Moss type catches. The first one, we were like “luck.” The second and third, “Hey son, what’s your name?” Did exactly what prospects are to do in that type of environment…make “wow” plays.
Israel Cooper, Anclote 2014 CB – Has a chance. Slim frame, but long arms. Covered pretty well in 1on 1s. Made a few nice plays because he was in good position.
Tobias Culpepper, Fort Meade 2014 WR – We already knew this young man was the real deal. He proved it yesterday. Very fast and runs crisp routes. Separates from defensive backs and uses his body well. Has the “It” factor. Understands zone coverage and beat just about every defensive back that lined up in front of him.
Jahrvis Davenport, Robinson 2015 WR – This kid is climbing fast on our board. Last month, he blew up Ignite and yesterday he completely destroyed E7. The skinny: Great build, explosive, fast, shifty, athletic and works!
Jacob Davis, Dunedin 2014 WR – Good concentration. Good route runner. Made several plays in traffic. Earned the respect of his QBs and a few on them said “Coach, watch this kid!”
