• Alonso G Terance Brown scored 13 points in the first half. Able to get to the rim and finish at the rack.
• David Reynolds led all scorers for Washington (6 points). Six different players scored in the first half for Washington.
• Washington was able to penetrate the Alonso zone defense, giving up all but 7 points in or near the paint.
• Alonso scored 14 points in the second period after scoring just 5 points in the first period. They limited Washington to 9 points in the second period after exploding for 12 points in the first quarter.
• By the end of the 3^rd quarter, 9 different Washington players were on the stat sheet.
• Alonso leading scorer, Terance Brown was held scoreless in the third period and one field goal in the final period. Ended the game with 15 points.
• Washington sophomore PF David Reynolds provided 11 points, a bunch of hustle and took home game MVP.
