Reggie Brown, Jesuit 2013 CB has verbally committed to Florida Atlantic University. After visiting the campus, interacting with the current players and coaches, Brown felt like bigger was not better. But, the right fit was priceless.

Brown had offers from FAU, Boston College, Middle Tenn. State, Iowa State, Tenn. State, South Alabama, Western Michigan, Toledo, Temple, Rutgers, Ball State and UMASS. He said his top three schools were Rutgers and Bowling Green. Both more established programs and larger national names, but the size was not the key factor.

“The school is close to family and friends and the coaches are excited about me being there as much as me wanting to be there.” Jesuit 2013 CB, Reggie Brown is the #4 ranked CB in the area. At 5-11, Brown has good height and has good speed to be a solid corner at the D1 level.

“Coaches really sold me. They stayed genuine throughout the whole process,” said Brown. He visited: West Virginia, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Miami and FIU. But not Rutgers and Bowling Green.

2011 Stats: 3 INTS, 31 Tackles, 6 PBUs; 22 rec for 315 yards and 4 rec TDs also a 2011 and 2012 BCP Ignite Showcase standout.
