For a 295 pound center, Tyler comes off the ball pretty well and makes good contact at the point of attack. Initial quicks. He will need to increase his foot quickness, but does a good job defeating defensive linemen in the center of the trench war.

Run blocking is where he excels. Plays slightly high, but when he gaines leverage, he keeps control and balance. Good explosion after the snap and finishes blocks. Does a good job driving defenders or running them past the play.
