The UCF Knights will battle the Arkansas State Red Wolves, co-champions of the Sun Belt, in the second-annual AutoNation Cure Bowl presented by Florida Hospital. The contest is set to be played on Dec. 17 at Camping World Stadium with the kickoff set for 5:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

Arkansas State will enter the contest 7-1 in the conference and 7-5 overall. The Red Wolves put together a string of wins in the second half of the season after dropping the fist 4, won the last 7 of 8. The Red Wolves boast five conference championships over the last six seasons and 51 victories.

UCF (6-6) became bowl eligible after a winless season in 2015. Enter Scott Frost (former Oregon Offensive Coordinator) who pulled the nights from the dumps and interesting enough, the 4th best total defense in the conference.

The AutoNation Cure Bowl, presented by Florida Hospital, today announced the talent at this year’s pre-game tailgate concert. The Eli Young Band will perform on December 17, 2016, from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at Tinker Field, adjacent to Camping World Stadium – Orlando and the concert is free admission with any game ticket purchase.
