6-3 sophomore QB, Christian Alexander strives for greatness

Christian Alexander, Lakeland Christian QB is just a sophomore. To this point in the season he is 86 completions of 145 passes. The 6-3/204 pound sophomore has completed .593 of his passes for 1453 yards, passing for 207.6 yards per game and 18 passing TDs with just 5 interceptions.

College coaches are already starting to take notice. Alexander is a big kid with potential through the ceiling. He is receiving attention from Missouri, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State, Rutgers, Miami and Florida State.

“It’s not a hobby to me. It’s what I love to do. It’s what I want to do,” Alexander speaks on the game of football. Being the QB has it’s ups and downs. However, the 2015 prospects is learning how to handle both. Most difficult part about being a QB, “Knowing what everybody is doing on the field and making the right reads,” said Alexander. Best part about game, “Decision making and Winning the game”.

Christian has grown up a Florida Gator fan and admires Cam Newton’s style of play. Just like Cam Newton, Alexander is a hard critic on himself. “Hard critic of myself, because I know what i’m suppose to do. So when I don’t do it, I come back and work hard all practice for the next game”.

Lakeland Christian is 5-2 overall, scheduled to play Shorecrest Prep this Friday. As long as Christian Alexander is on his game, everything will be OK!
