2017 Xecutives Small Skill 1 on 1

The speedsters, smooth operators usually garnish the most attention at camps and showcase because they are fun to watch and full of personality. In the secondary Brendan Gant, Kathleen 2019 and Jontrey Hunter, Sickles 2018 fought for MVP status. Both incredibly athletic and made plays on the ball. Tim’arcus Simpson, Sickles 2018 had another great performance. Did well in 1 on 1s and had an interception in 7 on 7. Jeremiah, Ware, Winter Haven 2019 and Demarcus Governor, Durant 2019 attracted attention especially during 7 on 7 deflecting passes left and right. Adam Rogers, Mitchell 2018 may have had the play of the day with his explosive interception…you will see in the video below.

The biggest name of the quarterback stable was Michael Penix Jr., Tampa Bay Tech 2018. Threw a wide variety of passes and put a lot of deep balls on the money. Ball location was solid. Shaye Scott, Gaither 2019 came on late. Especially in 2 on 2 drills with the running backs and linebackers. Pin pointed a few passes. GAVIN DENBOER, Alonso 2018 earned MVP honors with some laser passes during 7 on 7. Threw the ball with confidence and and showed the ability to process information and move the secondary. Carlton Potter, Durant 2018 won’t get much attention, but he should. Did a fantastic job running the offense during 7 on 7 and threw some quality passes.

The combo of Ahmarean Brown, Tampa Catholic 2019 and Joe Hodge, Tampa Catholic 2020 will cause defensive coordinators headaches. Both undersized, fast, smooth, crisp route runners. Both receivers beat defensive backs in the short game and over the top. Another good camp for Davonte Washington, Nature Coast Technical 2018. Impressive in individual drills and had a few catches in 7 on 7. Sylvester George, Jesuit 2019 is not a household name, but the young Tiger had a good day. Ran good routes and caught the ball well in traffic.
